These are my brother-in-law’s cows. Aren’t they kind of sweet? The black and white one is a loaner bull. Ha!
I am feeling marginally better. I think I can hear a little out of my right ear, and it crackles occasionally. Surely that’s a good sign. Also I’m not entirely exhausted. Of course, it is 8:00 in the morning, but I did stay up until 10 last night, which was a great deal better than the night before.
Of course, the shower I am about to take may just wipe me out.
I pulled everything out of the back kitchen cabinet last night. Of course, the entire cabinet is too big and needs to be replaced with a narrower shelf or cabinet, but — I found N’s middle school notebooks, the notes for M’s 6th grade Hawaii project, a picture of N’s middle school jv basketball team, 10,000 notecards, 3 origami kits, and an enormous box full of half-used pencils. M and her friends organized the cards for me and covered them with origami animals, and everything else (except the jv basketball picture) is going out, and then the ice-cream maker, the crockpot, the cuisinart and the popover pan will no longer need to live on the floor.
Things are better already!
It’s time — I just need time, time, time. Or else to not be so slow, but I don’t think that’s possible. I’m just stuck with my dawdling pace, and the need to describe everything to you, dear blog readers.
Okay — shower, a meeting, and then possibly home a bit early to continue to hack away at the crud that threatens to engulf us.
Bye.

Precious shelf space in my laundry room is occupied by a family of origami wombats. I’m glad you have similar priorities!
Oh my goodness. When I face clutter like that, I tend to throw it all away. ALL OF IT! That’s just overwhelming to me
I like cleaning out old kids’ stuff when the kids are there to play with it one last time.
