The sky is finally blue again — and M and I are planning further walks. We wanted to go see the tule elk yesterday, but the road was blocked so we made do with another, more foresty hike. Given the fact that it was overcast all day, it was probably a fine choice.
Anyway. I’m back at work, which is something of a shock to the system.
I actually like this time of year — it’s winter, such as we have. I love the bare trees and, when they happen, blue skies and high clouds.
That’s my resolution, then — to spend more time outside.
I’ll bet M is enjoying a break from real winter.
She keeps telling me that I don’t know what cold is anymore. Hmph.
Well, Maine is COLD. Berkeley is not. But, hell, even Virginia is COLD right now. A blue sky is nice, though.
Work. Shudder.
