Reading plus lunch

I’m reading Lives like Loaded Guns by Lyndall Gordon, which I guess is going to be about how Austin Dickinson’s affair with Mabel Todd complicated the way Emily Dickinson’s poetry was published. So far it’s pretty much a biography of Emily Dickinson, and really interesting.

Also, some co-workers too me out for an early birthday lunch. I am sorry if your birthday is not in June, as it’s pretty clearly the best month for a birthday. Six months from December; flowers; strawberries; end of school. Need I say more?
